Our Goals

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support the operational budget of Elizabeth House. To give you some insight into the Operational budget of Elizabeth House, we want to share some key numbers with you:
 

  • In 2022, we received 150 calls from pregnant and parenting women experiencing homelessness. Of these, all applicants received referrals and resources and more than 30 women and children were welcomed into residence with around the clock support and community

  • $1800/month for groceries and all household supplies for all families

  • $1450/month rent, utilities, wifi and phones

  • $35/month recreation and celebration opportunities, gifts and supplies per family

  • $75/month provides at least two on-site, specialized counselling therapy sessions for each woman

  • $75/month provides bursary funds for education costs, urgent medical fees, childcareplacements and other unpredictable expenses for each family

We would be honored if you would consider a donation to our event and in turn our operational budget. Any amount will help support the families of Elizabeth House. Help us put together our Beach Buckets (6 in total) and receive the following acknowledgements:
